A leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy in Auckland is seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer to join their team. With over 30 years in the industry, this company has been involved in a wide range of projects, from civil engineering to land development, surveying, structural engineering, and planning. They have recently shifted their focus towards more complex and niche land development projects, providing steady and ongoing work opportunities.

Responsibilities and Requirements

The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects designing earthworks, sediment and erosion control, wastewater and stormwater solutions, water supply solutions, roading, shared access ways, and flood management solutions. Responsibilities will include overseeing the design of technical projects and managing all aspects of land development engineering from contract to construction monitoring and client relations.

The ideal candidate should have NZ citizenship or working rights in New Zealand, at least 4 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development, a strong Civil 3D skill set, and experience with software tools like HEC-RES, HEC-HMS, and Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this role.
