Job Description: Intermediate Quantity Surveyor in Commercial Construction

About the Company:

Our client, a commercial main contractor located in West Auckland, is on the lookout for a dedicated Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their team. They believe in fostering a supportive work environment that encourages professional growth and advancement within the company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Measuring and pricing for consent and construction
• Obtaining supplier quotes for materials
• Contract negotiations with clients and contractors
• Invoice auditing and financial tracking
• Overseeing staff when required
• Assisting in health and safety compliance
• Preparing construction schedules and project budgets

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum of four years of experience in quantity surveying
• Experience in commercial construction
• Demonstrated ability to run own projects
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Sound commercial judgement

Benefits:
