Job Description

Our client is actively seeking experienced Construction Managers with a focus on heavy infrastructure, specifically in roading and water infrastructure projects. The ideal candidates should possess a minimum of 10 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in a Project Manager role overseeing projects exceeding $40 million in value.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the complete project lifecycle for infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Directly manage a team of site engineers, project engineers, site supervisors, foremen, and other personnel.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a high level of safety on construction sites.
  • Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and address them promptly.
  • Utilize project management software to track key performance indicators and project metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years as a Project Manager overseeing projects exceeding $10 million in value.
  • Experience in heavy infrastructure projects, particularly in roading and water infrastructure.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
