About the Serious Fraud Office (SFO)

Position: Investigating Lawyer

Based in Commercial Bay, Auckland, the SFO is looking for an Investigating Lawyer or Senior Investigating Lawyer with a specialization in criminal law. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will work on the investigation strategy of cases, provide legal analysis and opinions, participate in investigative tasks, and collaborate with criminal prosecutors on SFO prosecutions.

Requirements and Responsibilities

To succeed in this role, you must have a current practicing certificate, at least four years of practicing experience, and expertise in criminal law. Previous experience in investigating and litigating financial crimes such as investment fraud, bribery, and corruption is highly advantageous. Strong research, analysis, and collaboration skills are essential for this position.
