Overview
AgriZeroNZ, a public-private joint venture under the New Zealand Centre for Climate Impact, is seeking a talented individual to join their Ventures team. The team manages a $191m fund to invest in early-stage ventures that focus on reducing farm emissions in New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and source potential investment opportunities
- Conduct due diligence on potential investments
- Participate in negotiations and structuring of investment deals
- Manage a portfolio of investments and provide strategic guidance
- Develop investment memos and presentations
- Monitor investment performance and engage with portfolio companies
- Represent the firm at industry events and conferences
- Build relationships with co-investors and strategic partners
- Collaborate with portfolio company management teams
Your Background
The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of experience in venture capital, strong financial analysis skills, and a tertiary qualification in commerce/finance and/or law. Additionally, candidates with CFA qualifications will be preferred.
