Position Details
- Role: IT Support Technician
- Employment Type: Permanent, 40 hours per week
- Location: Auckland Central
- Salary: Competitive hourly rate of $28 - $32
Responsibilities
The IT Support Technician will be responsible for providing first contact support and resolution for Service Desk calls, as well as onsite field technician support. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing helpdesk and onsite support services to medical professionals and administration staff
- Coordinating and performing hands-on fixes at the desktop level
- Managing incoming calls to ensure timely resolution
- Collaborating with other IT professionals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Experience in Microsoft 365 is mandatory
- Exposure to RIS, PACS, Linux, Ubuntu, VMware, and Cisco technologies is desirable
- Remote support and field technician experience
- Knowledge of helpdesk ticketing software
- At least three years of experience in a similar IT service desk position
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
