The company is currently seeking two Junior SOC Analysts to join its cyber security practice in either Auckland or Wellington.

Job Description

The Junior SOC Analyst roles are part-time positions, with up to 24 hours per week, offering flexibility and tailored career paths. The roles involve shift work to accommodate different schedules, with 2-3 shifts per week lasting 8 hours each. Ideal candidates will have a passion for cyber security and a willingness to learn and grow in the field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer environments for security events
• Provide initial triage of security events
• Collaborate with experienced analysts and team members
• Document findings clearly and concisely

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Cyber Security/Information Security
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles
• Experience with operating systems and troubleshooting technical issues
• Awareness of common threat actors and their tactics
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
