About the Position

Liston College is seeking a dynamic and driven Director of Sport to oversee all sports activities at the college, emphasizing participation, performance, and excellence. The ideal candidate will be passionate about inspiring students to maximize their athletic potential and skills. This full-time position is open to both teaching and non-teaching professionals and requires a deep understanding of the New Zealand Secondary school sports landscape.

Responsibilities

• Manage all school sports activities, including scheduling, coordination, and supervision.
• Oversee sports administration, ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Lead and support sports personnel, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.
• Optimize sports resources to enhance student experiences and performance outcomes.
• Promote the Special Character of Liston College in all sporting endeavors.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Director of Sport position at Liston College should possess:

• Relevant experience in sports management, preferably in a school setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the New Zealand Secondary school sports landscape.
• A passion for developing young athletes and promoting sports excellence.
