Position Overview

Northern Districts Cricket Association is seeking a motivated and driven individual to join their team as the Pathway & Talent Coach for the Counties Manukau region. This full-time role involves working on Pathway and Talent programs to support the development of players and teams in a holistic manner.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the Pathway & Talent Coach include providing direction and leadership for the annual Pathway program for male and female athletes in Counties Manukau, as well as leading the delivery and coaching of high-level Talent through the Regional Academy model. The successful candidate will be responsible for talent identification, creating enjoyable learning environments, and have extensive cricket knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate for this role should have: - Relevant Coaching Qualification - NZC Level 2 or higher - Sport NZ Coach Developer qualification or equivalent (preferred) - Experience in community and/or professional sport - Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to build effective relationships - Extensive knowledge of player development processes - Ability to create enjoyable learning environments - Cricket knowledge related to technical and tactical game requirements
