Taikura Trust is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join their team as the Manager of Funding and Commissioning. In this leadership role, you will play a crucial part in improving outcomes for disabled individuals by managing funding, budgets, commissioning, and contract management. The focus is on ensuring that clients receive the best possible support through a people-centric and collaborative approach.

Taikura Trust is the leading facilitator in the region for needs assessment and service coordination for individuals under 65 with disabilities. Key Responsibilities

• Manage funding delegations and budgets to enhance outcome-based allocation practices
• Develop annual work plans aligned with the strategic vision
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create a seamless client journey
• Lead and support a diverse team of professionals

Qualifications and Skills

• Deep understanding of funding models and public fund administration in the disability sector
• Excellent communication skills to build strategic relationships
• Experience in process design and continuous improvement
• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team empowerment and education
• Background in Social Services or Health and Disability sectors
• Familiarity with Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its practical application
