We are looking for two passionate Restaurant Managers to oversee our well-established Indian restaurant (Raga Hospitality Limited t/a Heritage Indian cuisine) in Auckland. If you have a strong drive to work in the hospitality industry, we want to hear from you.
About the role:
- Full-time permanent position with a minimum of 30 hours per week and a maximum of 45 hours per week.
- Salary range: $30-$32 per hour
- Two positions available
Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage the restaurant and catering sites efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
- Conduct market research and collaborate with chefs on planning menus.
- Create sales and operating budgets.
- Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and cost control measures.
- Order stock, set prices, and manage supplier relationships.
- Maintain records of stock levels and financial transactions.
- Manage seating and timings for multiple table turns.
- Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally.
- Ensure the dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean and functional.
- Determine staffing needs and manage staff recruitment and training.
- Set rosters and supervise waiting and kitchen staff.
- Collaborate with Bar staff and Bar manager.
- Work at catering or event sites as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience and knowledge of Indian cuisine.
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays, including split shifts.
