Join Our Team as a Mechanical Design Engineer!

About Us:
We are an Auckland based Material Handling OEM specializing in designing, manufacturing, and installing Material Handling equipment for large manufacturers in NZ and Australia, particularly in the Food & Beverage and Dairy sectors.

Job Summary:
We are currently hiring for two positions:
1. Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (5-10 years of machinery design experience)
2. Junior to Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer (at least 2 years post-grad work experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and customize machinery using Solidworks and AutoCAD
• Collaborate with suppliers for equipment procurement
• Integrate equipment into manufacturing plant environments
• Conduct site-based measure-ups and installation checks
• Participate in project stages from sales handover to machine testing

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
• Proficiency in Solidworks and AutoCAD
• Experience in Material Handling equipment design
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to perform relevant engineering calculations

Benefits:
This role offers a competitive salary range of NZD 75,000 - 120,000 per annum with flexible working hours and opportunities for technical growth.
