About the Role

We are currently seeking a Mechanical-Plastic Technician to join our team in Auckland. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive hourly rate of NZ $29.66. The role involves operating and maintaining welding machinery, ensuring product quality, and adhering to safety protocols.

Job Details and Responsibilities

• Setting up and testing welding machinery
• Operating welding equipment and monitoring temperatures
• Conducting regular inspections and maintenance
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Quality control and product oversight
• Adhering to safety protocols

Requirements for the Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience or qualification in mechanical engineering
• Experience with HF Welding Machines and Wedge Welder
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong math skills and ability to work with measurements
