About the Role

As a Roofer in this company, you will work on residential projects, involving re-roofs, new builds, and repair work. Responsibilities include cutting, folding, and installing roofing iron and other components, such as gutters, flashings, and ridges. You will also be involved in removal of existing roofing, laying insulation, and ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.

Requirements

The company is looking for two types of candidates:

• Senior Role: At least 3-5 years of roofing experience
• Junior Role: 2+ years of roofing experience

Other requirements include metal longrun experience, a passion for the roofing industry, comfort with working at heights, problem-solving skills, ability to meet deadlines, and preferably some leadership experience. Candidates should have their own tools, a valid NZ Driver’s License, and be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
