Are you a dynamic Medical Oncologist looking for a transformative leadership opportunity in a leading Regional Cancer Service unit? This position offers the chance to provide innovative leadership, governance, and direction to a dedicated team. The service operates outpatient clinics and chemotherapy units across regional and remote communities through a central virtual model.

Responsibilities

As the Medical Oncology Lead, you will be responsible for supporting outpatient clinics, providing high-quality oncology services, and contributing to strategic initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to participate in the establishment of a clinical trials unit aimed at bringing trials closer to regional patients.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have: - Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent - Specialist recognition as a Medical Oncologist with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians - Eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) - Demonstrated participation in continuing professional development
