## About Emerge Aotearoa Emerge Aotearoa is one of New Zealand's largest NGOs, dedicated to providing health, social, and housing services to individuals from various communities. With a team of 1400 employees guided by three strategic Pou, the organization is committed to empowering Māori, Pacific peoples, and diversity through its work.

## About the Role As a pivotal member of the Governance & Strategy directorate, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic growth and development within the organization. Responsibilities include leading a team, enhancing performance frameworks, fostering relationships, driving the ESG program, and advancing Tangata Tiriti aspirations. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact and shape the future direction of Emerge Aotearoa.

## Qualifications and Skills The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in strategic planning within complex organizations, with a knack for designing and implementing effective strategies. Proficiency in strategy development tools and frameworks is essential. Additionally, experience in relationship management and engagement, particularly with iwi, community, and government stakeholders, will be beneficial. Above all, a deep commitment to diversity, Māori and Pacific communities, and organizational values is paramount.
