Giles Carpets, a well-established flooring retailer in Mt Roskill, Auckland, is seeking a casual/part-time sales and office admin person to join our dynamic team. With 42 years of experience, we pride ourselves on offering high-quality products and exceptional customer service. As we transition to a digital system, we are looking for a dedicated individual to help us continue our tradition of excellence.

Job Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers, understand their needs, and provide effective solutions
• Communicate proficiently in English
• Collaborate with team members
• Demonstrate a friendly and engaging demeanor with keen attention to detail
• Utilize computer systems for data entry accurately and efficiently
• Be flexible with working hours to accommodate business needs
• Assist in visual merchandising and showroom displays
• Showcase a sense of humor and good time management skills
• Hold a valid driver's license and be over 25 years old or have access to a car

Working Hours and Remuneration

You will be required to work Mondays and Fridays for approximately 5-6 hours each day and Saturdays from 9am to 3pm. The hourly wage is negotiable based on experience. We offer a supportive work environment and are open to accommodating your schedule.
