Senior Lifeguard Full-time Job

Waipapa Taumata Rau | The University of Auckland is offering an exciting opportunity for two experienced Senior Lifeguards to join their team at the new state-of-the-art Recreation Centre opening in late 2024.

Job Overview

As a Senior Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all patrons using the pool facilities. Your responsibilities will include providing exceptional customer service, general lifeguarding duties, and maintaining pool safety and health standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new team and gain valuable skills in a dynamic environment.

Job Details

• Hours: Full-time (37.5 hrs/week) with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts.
• Salary: $25.90 to $32.67 per hour, based on skills and experience.
• Training Date: Training starts on Monday 2nd September.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of lifeguarding experience, hold a Pool Lifeguard Practicing certificate and First Aid certificate, possess excellent customer service and communication skills, and prioritize health and safety in all aspects of the role.
