Mercury Payment Solutions Team - Fixed Term Contract Opportunity

As part of the Payment Solutions team, the successful candidate will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls with residential customers in arrears. The role involves negotiating payment solutions, adhering to Mercury's guidelines and business rules, and ensuring prompt responses to all customer calls and correspondence. The key focus is on achieving debt reduction while maintaining a customer-centric approach.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in customer service or engagement, familiarity with industry regulations such as the Electricity Code of Practice, and proficiency in tools like GTV/SAP, Excel, Outlook, and Word. While previous debt collection experience is beneficial, a willingness to adapt to Mercury's Payment Solutions mindset and a genuine desire to help customers are essential qualities for this role.
