Job Opportunity
We are currently seeking a dedicated Payroll Officer to join our People and Culture team on a part-time basis, with the option to work between 3 or 4 days a week. The Payroll Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless payroll services for all staff members, focusing on accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle payroll functions for assigned portfolio within ProCare group
- Work closely with the Payroll Specialist to ensure smooth operations
- Implement continuous process improvements for payroll services
- Provide timely advice and guidance to employees and managers
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll or human resources support roles
- Finance qualification or relevant diploma/degree
- Knowledge of iPayroll system or equivalent preferred
- Strong understanding of NZ employment law and payroll practices
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Passion for improving health outcomes in New Zealand
