Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated Payroll Officer to join our People and Culture team on a part-time basis, with the option to work between 3 or 4 days a week. The Payroll Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless payroll services for all staff members, focusing on accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle payroll functions for assigned portfolio within ProCare group
  • Work closely with the Payroll Specialist to ensure smooth operations
  • Implement continuous process improvements for payroll services
  • Provide timely advice and guidance to employees and managers

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll or human resources support roles
  • Finance qualification or relevant diploma/degree
  • Knowledge of iPayroll system or equivalent preferred
  • Strong understanding of NZ employment law and payroll practices
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Passion for improving health outcomes in New Zealand
