Peer support / lived experience position - 20 hours /0.5 FTE Full-time Job

Key points:

- Support recovery from addiction and mental distress through running and walking - Peer Support role available - Location: Auckland CBD - Part-time 20 hour a week / 0.5 FTE roles available

Job requirements:

- Preferably a Level 4 National Certificate of Health & Wellbeing or higher qualification - Experience in a peer support role - Hold a full NZ Driver License - Knowledge of running and ability to run 8-10 kilometers at a time

Job responsibilities:

- Support individuals in early recovery to join groups and grow recovery capital - Work with the local Programme Coordinator to support individuals in working towards their recovery goals

Qualifications:

- Level 4 National Certificate of Health & Wellbeing or higher - Experience in a peer support role

Skills:

- Passion, positivity, and a solution-focused approach - Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Confident use of IT for documentation, reporting, and communication - Ability to work flexibly including some evening and weekend work - Excellent boundaries and commitment to personal and professional growth
