Job requirements:

- Has knowledge and understanding of a Pacific culture - Has experience as a Support Worker or similar - Can satisfy requirements for working with vulnerable adults including requirements in relation to police vetting - Can use Microsoft Office products including email, Word, etc - Has a clean, full NZ Drivers Licence - Good communication skills in English and a Pacific language - Is eligible to work in New Zealand

Job responsibilities:

- Bring your lived experience and make a real impact - Walk alongside disabled Pacific people to understand their experience and aspirations - Connect individuals to appropriate pathways to resolve challenges - Provide guidance, encouragement, and advocacy - Create a space where people feel heard, valued, and supported - Help individuals navigate community resources and supports - Promote cultural respect and diversity
