About the Role

Are you looking for a unique opportunity to have a real impact on the lives of at-risk rangatahi in the Auckland region? Kia Puāwai is seeking a Kai Atawhai|Transition worker to help rangatahi transition successfully into adulthood. This part-time position involves 20 hours per week and is based in New Lynn.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must be registered or registerable with a professional body and hold a bachelor's or master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field. You should have an understanding of rangatahi with complex behavioral needs, the ability to build strong relationships, and a clean NZ driver's license. Additionally, a willingness to undergo MSD checks and police vetting, resilience, and embracing tikanga Māori are essential.
