Role Overview

The Caregiver Social Worker will oversee 5 care homes, manage rosters and timesheets, provide supervision to staff, ensure training and development, assess placement suitability, and collaborate with social workers. The role involves managing day-to-day operational issues and ensuring caregivers provide nurturing and safe environments for tamariki.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a recognized Social Work qualification, full registration with SWRB, resilience, critical thinking skills, an understanding of The Oranga Tamariki Act, and a passion for supporting caregivers. Excellent communication and relationship management skills are essential.
