The Position

As a pivotal member of the team, you will be responsible for handling, lifting, and guiding piles onto the correct positions on-site, working closely with the Foreman to ensure operational efficiency. With a starting rate of $25 per hour (depending on experience), full-time hours, and the potential for a permanent position, this role offers not only financial stability but also the chance to progress from Groundsman to Operator to Foreman.

Requirements

To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate should be physically fit, reliable, punctual, and enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions. Possessing a valid Site Safe certificate, a full NZ Driver's License (Class 1), and the flexibility to travel out of Auckland occasionally are essential. Additionally, candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test to be considered for the position.
