About Us

At McMullen and Wing, we specialize in new-build and refit work on commercial vessels ranging from 10m to 30m. Our projects include the construction of carbon-fibre electric ferries and the refurbishment of local and North Island-based commercial vessels. We take pride in our energetic team and strong customer focus, aiming for excellence in every aspect of our work.

Current Opportunities

We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

1. Boat Builder - Composite or Aluminium

- NZQA Level 4 qualification in boat building or equivalent experience - Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience - Proficiency in boat building techniques and equipment - Ability to follow project plans and specifications

2. Boat Builder "Leading Hand" - Composite or Aluminium

- NZQA Level 4 qualification in boat building - 5+ years of boat building experience - Strong leadership skills to guide a team through tasks - Proficiency in reading plans and executing tasks accurately
