Responsibilities of the Role
As a Project Manager - Building Services, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are led effectively across all stages, meeting project expectations, brief requirements, cost targets, and timelines. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the design, procurement, and installation of building services on site
- Managing services installations to achieve project outcomes, maintaining design, cost, time, and safety standards
- Collaborating with project sponsors and stakeholders to ensure positive and effective relationships
- Contributing to procurement strategy and managing risks and opportunities within services installations
- Identifying best practices and innovative construction solutions for project implementation
Requirements for Success
To excel in this role, you are expected to bring a combination of skills and attributes, including:
- Tertiary level professional qualification in Engineering or Management
- Membership of an appropriate professional institution
- 10+ years of experience in senior project leadership roles in complex commercial environments
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Proven ability to find practical solutions to technical problems
