The Job Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will report to an experienced Manager and be responsible for post-contract work on ECI/Design Build projects. Your tasks will include procurement, sub-contract preparation, cost reporting, on-site measurements, and managing payments and variations. Building strong relationships with clients and contractors will be a key focus of the role. You will have the opportunity to engage in both office and site-based work, providing a diverse and engaging work experience.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of Quantity Surveying experience in New Zealand or a similar market. Experience working on large commercial or industrial buildings is preferred. Knowledge of New Zealand contracts and construction methods will be advantageous. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities are essential. Related Quantity Surveying qualifications will also be beneficial.
