As part of their energetic working environment, you will collaborate with some of the best construction professionals in the industry. The company is financially well-resourced and specializes in Design and Build (D&B) projects. They are gearing up for an $80M apartment project in Auckland Central and are in need of an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their project team.

Responsibilities of the Role

• Variations, progress claims, and invoicing
• Contract administration
• Negotiating with suppliers and sub-contractors
• Tender evaluations
• Site Health and Safety oversight

Background and Skills Required

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• At least 7 years of quantity surveying experience on commercial projects
• A tertiary qualification in quantity surveying (Diploma or degree)
• Attention to detail and a thorough approach to work
• Strong numeracy skills
• Experience in supplier negotiation
• A flexible and co-operative attitude with a willingness to learn
• High-level communication skills
• Solid computer-based systems knowledge

Competitive Remuneration Package

The successful candidate can expect a competitive remuneration package ranging from $150,000 to $170,000.
