Commercial Site Manager Full-time Job

Introduction

In the dynamic world of commercial construction projects, the role of a Site Manager is pivotal in ensuring the successful and timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and budget adherence. Lynx, in partnership with a leading subcontractor, is currently seeking experienced Site Managers for their Auckland-based projects.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement detailed project plans for facade and cladding installations, considering project scope, timelines, and budget constraints. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Team Management: Lead a team of construction professionals, provide clear direction, set performance expectations, and ensure effective communication within the team.
• Quality Assurance: Enforce high-quality standards throughout the installation process and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Safety Compliance: Prioritize and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols on the construction site, conduct safety meetings, risk assessments, and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as a Site Manager focusing on facades and cladding installations
• In-depth knowledge of facades and cladding systems, materials, and installation techniques
• Strong understanding of construction project management principles
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in project management software
• Commitment to safety and quality standards
