Overview

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people and their families? Do you have a background in psychology and a desire to work within a collaborative team environment? If so, this Fixed term full-time role for 12 months might be the perfect fit for you.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identifying patterns or contributing factors influencing learning, wellbeing, and behavior
  • Contribute to strength-based collaborative team processes
  • Provide ongoing, individualized psychological assessment and intervention
  • Support all stakeholders to use evidence-informed practice
  • Monitor implementation effectiveness through data collection

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered psychologist under the Health Practitioners Competency Assurance Act with a current practicing certificate. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals.

About the Team

The Te Kahu Tōī Intensive Wraparound Service provides evidence-based interventions to support children and young people with various challenges. The team collaborates with families, schools, agencies, and communities to create comprehensive plans for success in different environments.
