Role Description

This opportunity is perfect for experienced Quantity Surveyors who have a background working with Tier 1 or 2 Main Contractors. The role entails providing precise cost management, overseeing procurement activities, and managing contracts within the commercial construction sector of New Zealand and Australia. The successful candidates will play a crucial part in maintaining project profitability and fostering relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for tenders
• Supervise construction costs and variations
• Monitor project profitability and budget adherence
• Handle the procurement process and contract negotiations
• Review subcontractor tenders and manage relationships
• Lead and mentor junior Quantity Surveyors

Requirements

The ideal candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in vertical builds exceeding $30 million in New Zealand or Australia. A relevant construction or quantity surveying qualification is essential. This role is suited for individuals looking to enhance their skills and progress towards managerial roles in the future.
