About Us

The Pegasus Health 24 Hour Surgery (24HS) in Christchurch is seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our supportive and friendly team. We are committed to providing high-quality 24-hour urgent medical and accident care to the community in our new state-of-the-art facility at 401 Madras Street. With over 35 years of experience, our reception team is proud to offer top-notch customer service every day of the year.

What You Will Be Doing

As a part of our reception team, you will be the first point of contact for patients arriving at the 24HS. Your responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service, handling administrative tasks, booking appointments, managing house visits, and more. The role requires working on a 7-day roster, covering all shifts, and candidates must be available for a minimum of two shifts per month.

What You Will Bring

We are looking for individuals who can thrive in a busy environment, possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate cultural awareness, and have strong organizational and time management abilities. Experience with MedTech 32 is advantageous, and a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care is essential.
