Recovery Navigator Opportunity in Auckland CBD

Location: CBD and North shore, with travel throughout the communities

Duration: Asap Start - December 2024

Compensation: $40 per hour + 8% Holiday pay

About the Role

Are you passionate about community support? This is an opportunity to work within a large multi-level government organization supporting a community-based recovery project for individuals affected by floods and cyclone Gabrielle. Based in Auckland's CBD, you will be at the forefront of making a significant difference in the community.

Daily Tasks Include:

• Communicating with community members affected by the floods
• Providing in-depth knowledge on support services available through phone and face-to-face interactions
• Attending community meetings/briefings and staying responsive to emerging needs
• Maintaining accurate case notes and recovery plan recordings
• Developing positive relationships with stakeholders

Requirements

If you are tech-savvy, have at least 5 years of experience in customer-facing roles, possess a full NZ Driver's License, and preferably have SAP experience, you could be the ideal candidate for this role. Being resilient and compassionate are key traits for success in this position.
