Royal District Nursing Services (RDNS NZ) is currently offering a weekend job opportunity in the West and Central Auckland areas. RDNS NZ is a not-for-profit provider of Home and Community based Nursing Services catering to clients in various regions of New Zealand. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing personal care, household cleaning, wellness checks, medication prompting, and meal preparation.

Support and Training

RDNS NZ is committed to supporting its caregivers by providing comprehensive training and resources. You will receive orientation and training in the office before being assigned to work in the community. Additionally, you will be equipped with uniforms, personal protective resources, and a mobile phone that will serve as your communication channel with the office. The organization also has dedicated experienced staff who will provide daily support and assistance as needed. Professional development opportunities and in-house training are also available for career growth.

Qualifications and Requirements

Our clients expect caregivers to possess certain qualities including a caring and empathetic nature, reliability, honesty, and integrity. Building rapport with clients, excellent time management, and organizational skills are essential for this role. Valuing diversity and inclusion is highly regarded. Candidates must have a minimum Restricted Driver’s License and their own car for transportation. Eligibility to legally live and work in New Zealand is also required.
