About the Role

As a Support Worker based at Harakeke House in Manukau, you will be part of our enhanced mobile team. You'll work alongside peer support workers and support workers to assist tangata whai ora in the community, focusing on supporting their independence with medication. This full-time position requires you to work 40 hours per week from Sunday to Thursday, 1pm - 9:30pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Advocate and support individuals to thrive

  • Help build resilience and community connections
  • Provide medication support

Requirements

We are looking for individuals with a caring nature, experience in recovery-focused work, and a Level 4 qualification in mental health and wellbeing or equivalent. Candidates with lived experience of mental health and addiction challenges are highly valued. You should also have a current driver's license and first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.
