About the Role

The ideal candidate for this role will be based in Auckland, covering Auckland and the north of Auckland region. The position involves regular travel within the region to visit customers, explore new business opportunities, and spend one or two days a week at the Hamilton office. Key responsibilities include managing and growing customer relationships, negotiating quotations, expanding market share, and ensuring high customer satisfaction levels. Strong reporting and analysis skills are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow customer relationships
• Negotiate and construct quotations
• Expand market share within the region
• Maintain relationships and uphold customer satisfaction
• Conduct regular call cycles and expand market share
• Maintain daily activities via CRM systems
• Provide high levels of service to customers

Requirements

• Electrical qualifications or a minimum of 5 years in the electrical industry
• Experience in machine automation or general industry knowledge preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Prior experience in sales representation and cold calling is advantageous
• Excellent time management and prioritization abilities
• Drive, energy, and a customer-centric approach
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus
• Full, clean driver's license required
