Kaahui Whetuu Care & Protection Residence in South Auckland is currently seeking Residential Youth Workers to provide care and support to young people in their facility. This role involves encouraging positive choices, providing wrap-around support, and helping young individuals successfully transition back into the community. As a Residential Youth Worker, you'll have the chance to positively influence the lives of these young people and assist them in their growth journey.

Role Responsibilities
- Coaching rangatahi through daily activities and life skills
- Engaging in recreational activities with young individuals
- Supporting rangatahi with their studies and teaching essential life skills
- Building relationships with young people who have experienced trauma
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid driver's license
- Children's Act safety checking compliance
- New Zealand citizenship or residency
- Resilience, empathy, and patience
- Experience working with Rangatahi and Tamariki
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of tikanga Māori and te reo Māori
