About the Opportunity

The ACT Education Directorate is looking for passionate and qualified Visual and/or Performing Arts educators to join their team in Canberra. With a focus on providing a high-quality education to over 51,000 students in 91 public schools, this is an opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of young learners.

Salary and Benefits

Successful candidates can enjoy nation-leading public school pay and conditions, with incremental salary progression starting from $86,253 for new educators. Experienced educators can earn between $102,969 to $121,077, rewarding them for their dedication to teaching. In addition, up to $12,000 relocation reimbursement is provided for interstate/international teachers.

Eligibility Requirements

To be employed as a teacher in an ACT public school, candidates must have a four-year full-time tertiary education qualification, teacher registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute, and a valid Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration. Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid working visa is also required.
