Job responsibilities

- Focus on Ethnic (Asian) communities
- Promoting awareness of Age Concern Auckland's services
- Providing culturally and linguistically appropriate information and advice
- Working with older people referred, including suspected elder abuse cases
- Providing education and raising public awareness on elder abuse
- Developing and maintaining beneficial relationships with various stakeholders

Qualifications

- Registered qualified social worker with current practicing certificate
- Experience in not-for-profit or community sector
- Fluency in English and Mandarin/Cantonese languages
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

Skills

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Possess a full clean driver's license
