Are you an experienced COBOL Developer looking for a new opportunity in the financial sector? Beyond Recruitment is currently offering a 12-month contract for a Senior COBOL Developer based in Auckland. This role allows for a combination of on-site work and remote work, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a COBOL Developer with expertise in IBM Mainframe, CICS, ObjectStar, DB2, OPC, JCL, and Endeavour.
• Familiarity with JIRA and ServiceNow.
• Prior experience in the banking or financial industry.

Responsibilities

As a Senior COBOL Developer in this role, you will be responsible for:

• Providing production support to ensure systems are available and reliable for customers.
• Assisting the team in backlog grooming and researching system, user, and environmental aspects of development to understand features and services.
• Managing linkages, dependencies, and outcomes to prevent unexpected business consequences.
