Senior BAS Accountant Full-time Job

We are a Mid-tier established CA firm looking for a Senior BAS Accountant to provide prompt, personalised service across all our accounting, business advisory and financial services. We pride ourselves on our many long-standing clients across many different industries. We have a strong client base and with your great communication skills you will enjoy liaising and adding value to organisations and people's livelihoods.

Moore Markhams Auckland has a friendly team and energetic working environment and is seeking a focused and technically strong senior BAS accountant.

This senior position will include the following responsibilities and duties:

• Providing a broad range of business advisory services to clients including meeting compliance requirements, tax planning, cash flow management, budgeting and investment portfolios.
• Building client relationships and aiming to exceed your clients' expectations.
• Assist with mentoring of junior staff.

To be successful in this role a background as follows would be an advantage:

• Four+ years New Zealand CA experience, including strong reporting skills.
• BAS and tax advisory including management reporting.
• A genuine interest in business and sound financial reporting skills.
• The ability to work in a team and meet goals of both the team and the firm.
• Thorough knowledge of Income Tax, GST, FBT and familiar with NZ IRD system.
• The ability to manage client relationships autonomously.
• Strong communication skills and able to articulate to both clients and the team.
