About the Role

Reporting directly to the Group Accountant, the Senior Financial Accountant will lead end-to-end financial transactions, ensuring accuracy from capturing to reporting while overseeing budgets and forecasting. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement and aligning financial systems across inventory, B2B transactions, and online data within a dynamic, complex group business structure. Additionally, the role will have the responsibility of guiding and developing two junior finance roles through coaching and mentoring.

About You

We are searching for a Senior Financial Accountant who might be looking for a change in pace with an opportunity to influence decisions, or a well-established and driven Financial Accountant that is looking to make that next step in their career.

To be successful in the role you will bring:

• 5+ years accounting experience with a relevant tertiary qualification
• Proven experience working within a retail or FMCG environment
• CA qualified
• Proven experience leading end-to-end accounting functions
• An ability to be adaptable, agile and comfortable with changing environments
• An ability to cope under pressure and excel in fast-paced environments
• Management experience, whilst not necessary it would be beneficial
