Location: Christchurch Central

Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 per year + Company vehicle

About Our Client: Our client is a leading provider of integrated services in Australia and New Zealand. They prioritize delivery, relationships, thought leadership, sustainability, and safety in their business operations.

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will organize and action surveying requirements on contracts/projects to ensure work meets contract specifications. Responsibilities also include mentoring junior and intermediate surveyors and demonstrating expertise in engineering/construction surveying in a New Zealand context.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Administration: Set up systems to manage survey information
• Contract Management: Understand project pricing and sequencing
• Relationship Management: Develop professional relationships with stakeholders
• Construction Surveying: Apply correct survey methodology and equipment

Requirements:

• NZ Certificate in Land Surveying / Diploma in Surveying or Bachelor of Surveying
• 5 years of construction experience with 2 years in tier 1 projects and 2 years in a New Zealand environment
• Modern civil software knowledge (Civil3D, 12D, Trimble Business Centre, etc)
• Experience with Leica or Trimble Total Stations, GNSS
