Senior Project Manager Role Overview

Morgan Project Services is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team and oversee multiple claims across New Zealand. The ideal candidate should have a background in project management and insurance, along with a deep understanding of the building industry, construction practices, and relevant legislation. The role offers the opportunity to work with a supportive team of professionals and further enhance one's skills and expertise in the field.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Responding to technical queries from stakeholders
• Managing design consultants to meet insurance policy and building code requirements
• Ensuring health and safety compliance
• Assisting with event coordination and workload distribution
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and contractors
• Completing scopes of work and overseeing projects
• Conducting cost validation reviews and team management

Requirements for the Role

• Minimum 5 years of project management and construction experience in NZ/AUS
• Experience in handling insurance claims is preferred
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in planning, program management, and IT
• Strong knowledge of the New Zealand Building Code and Health & Safety regulations
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
