Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Global M & A Specialist in Auckland. This role requires bringing financial modelling skills to a deals environment and being part of a genuinely collaborative and supportive culture within a diverse team. The team takes pride in working together on various engagements and is looking to ramp up M & A deal flow.

Role Responsibilities

• Supporting clients and evaluating investment opportunities
• Assisting in structuring and executing transactions
• Preparing high-quality financial models and additional quantitative analysis
• Strategic, commercial, and investment decision-making for a range of public and private sector clients
• Significant client interaction, including building and maintaining relationships

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Previous M & A and financial modelling experience, preferably at least five years
• Enthusiasm for developing solutions to complex strategic, commercial, and financial issues
• Passionate about working in a deals environment
• Possibly transitioning from Equity Research or Inhouse Corporate Strategy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a high level of motivation, energy, and drive
