Senior Mechanic Full-time Job

Key points:

- Workshop based in Takanini - Seeking a Mechanic or Auto Electrician with 10+ years of experience - WOF certification preferred - Full-time, permanent position - Salary to be discussed with successful applicant - Physically fit and strong individuals preferred - Competitive salary offered

Job requirements:

- Qualified or 10+ years of experience in the industry - WOF certified or willing to become certified - Not accepting apprentices or trainees - Able to work 8am-5pm weekdays

Job responsibilities:

- Diagnosing and analyzing mechanical faults - Testing engine components - Repairing faults and replacing vehicle parts - General servicing including oil changes, filter replacements, belt changes, suspension work, tire fitting, etc. - Checking and servicing brakes, cooling systems, suspension, and steering systems

Qualifications:

- Relevant work experience - Physically fit and strong - Committed, reliable, and self-motivated - Ability to follow instructions - Confidence with computer use

- Mechanical expertise - Diagnostic abilities - Repair and maintenance skills - Attention to detail - Strong work ethic
