Job Description

The company is currently seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead a new build $40M+ high-rise apartment complex. Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project delivery by leading a team of site staff. This role will involve managing day-to-day operations, collaborating with site managers, sub-contractors, and consultants, as well as actively monitoring commercial and contractual matters. Ensuring accurate project cost measurement, monitoring, and agreement will be a key aspect of the role, alongside a strong focus on health and safety compliance.

Requirements

Key success factors for this role include a trade qualification, ideally combined with a tertiary qualification, at least 10 years of experience managing projects within the $30M - $60M+ range, sound knowledge of relevant commercial construction legislation, strong programming skills including expertise in MS Project or similar construction management systems, solid financial management abilities with a focus on cost accountability, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
