Role Overview
The company is currently seeking a dynamic leader with project management experience to support multiple claims across New Zealand. The ideal candidate should have a good technical understanding of the building industry, construction techniques, practices, products, and legislation. Being a registered building contractor or project manager is a plus. The role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive team environment and develop skills alongside industry professionals.
Key Duties
- Manage the Project Management Team
- Respond to technical queries from stakeholders
- Manage design consultants for solutions
- Focus on health and safety compliance
- Assist with event coordination and management
- Review team progress and workload
- Act as the primary point of contact to clients
- Complete scopes of work and cost validation reviews
- Build team morale and strengths
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management and construction experience in NZ/AUS
- Leadership experience
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proven planning and program management experience
- Strong IT skills
- Good understanding of NZ Building Code and Health and Safety regulations
- Organizational and time management skills
- Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment
