Role Overview

The company is currently seeking a dynamic leader with project management experience to support multiple claims across New Zealand. The ideal candidate should have a good technical understanding of the building industry, construction techniques, practices, products, and legislation. Being a registered building contractor or project manager is a plus. The role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive team environment and develop skills alongside industry professionals.

Key Duties

  • Manage the Project Management Team
  • Respond to technical queries from stakeholders
  • Manage design consultants for solutions
  • Focus on health and safety compliance
  • Assist with event coordination and management
  • Review team progress and workload
  • Act as the primary point of contact to clients
  • Complete scopes of work and cost validation reviews
  • Build team morale and strengths

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management and construction experience in NZ/AUS
  • Leadership experience
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven planning and program management experience
  • Strong IT skills
  • Good understanding of NZ Building Code and Health and Safety regulations
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment
