Job requirements

Job responsibilities

• Programming and managing programme and quality (Microsoft Project)
• Consulting with architect/engineers
• Liaising with clients
• Attending to any council matters
• Material procurement
• On site supervision
• Progress reporting
• Health and safety

Qualifications

• 10+ years local site experience on commercial construction projects
• Carpentry trade or tertiary qualified in construction management

Skills

• Technical skills including design resolution and integration of structural elements
• Planning and programming skills
• Effective management of site staff
• Established rapport with sub-contractors and consultants
• Ability to influence when necessary
